Graham and I have finally arrived in Yurimaguas! The bad news is that we now have to wait on a boat to Nueva Vida. At least we have internet here. The bus ride from Lima to Tarapoto took 33 hours, which got us there at 3:00 in the morning. We waited until 6:00 for an overloaded pickup truck to take us to Yurimaguas and arrived at 10:00 (it would have been sooner, but we had some issues with the suspension, which they repaired with some rubber tubbing and a stick). We are staying with some friends of Jesús here in Yurimaguas, and hopefully will leave tomorrow morning, God willing!

Brother...praise God for you! It is SO encouraging to see what the Lord has done with you over the years. I have no idea when we would be able to catch up, but my wife is about to have our first baby girl Makayla and 3 months later (this October) we'll be headed to "East Asia" for a couple years. Praise the Lord that His gospel is going to the unreached that the Great Commission will be finished soon and we'll get to see our great and wonderful King! Many blessings to you...you are in my prayers!
Jeff
I was looking through Graham's links on his blog to friends and I came across your website. This is Matthew, your roommate, from Screening Conference in Aug. I delayed an FPO session, and I was there with Graham and Amanda in Feb. I am currently in East Asia working among the Mongol People. I was quite shocked this morning to discover this was your page. It is great to hear that Father is doing great things through you there. I am excited to know that I can keep up with you over the next few years. Talk to you later sir!
PS. In my quad, the two couples were all A&M grads from Houston!
